My daughter starts preschool today, so I figured I’d share some of my favorite back-to-school picks for the preschool set:I love Skip Hop backpacks (as is probably obvious from the above picture). It does, however, seems like everyone has the Zoo backpacks these days, so this cute cloud version is another option and may be something only your child has.
My daughter’s school has uniforms, so I have to pick out clothes in blue, white, and khaki. While Old Navy has a great selection of such clothes, I also wanted something a bit different. That’s why I love this dress from French Toast. I bought it in navy for my daughter, but the khaki is nice too.
I also adore this dress from Tea. I absolutely love Tea and just wish they made more dresses that can double as uniforms!
I wanted to get a slightly different sweater, but knew I needed to stick to the “light blue” color palette. I like this one from Mini Boden. It comes in several colors, so it’s a useful layering piece, even if your kid’s school doesn’t require uniforms.
Like pretty much every other girl in the world, my daughter is obsessed with Frozen. I wasn’t planning on buying her any Frozen-branded items for school, but then I came across this water bottle by Thermos. I have a bunch of Foogo by Thermos bottles and love them, so have high hopes for this one. Plus, my daughter will be thrilled to see it packed in her lunch today.
Finally, because the school asks that I label everything, I purchased the Rub-a-dub Sharpie. It’s made to label clothing and stand up to washing/drying.
Now I need to go buy tissues . . . As someone once told me about parenting: The days are long, but the years are short.
